Current Read-Alouds

"The House At Pooh Corner" by A. A. Milne. You should hear Lizzie sing "tiddely pom." She makes a very adorable, squeaky Piglet voice. :)

History: I'm very excited to start reading these two books tomorrow to the children:

"Stories of the Reformation in Germany and England" by Rev. B. G. Johns.

"Reformation Heroes" by Diana Kleyn & Joel R. Beeke. I'll only be reading the chapters that cover the people we are studying. Thanks, Dawn, again for buying this book- the illustrations are beautiful!

Children: Patricia enjoys reading aloud to the boys and often helps me by reading for me. :) She has recently begun to take the incentive to pick a chapter book and read it aloud to her siblings entirely by herself. They love it! Here is what Patricia is currently reading aloud to the children:

"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"
by Roald Dahl.

Those books sound wonderful!

Good for Patricia to be reading aloud to everyone! :) I hope Michaela will do that someday.

What special memories!
