Simple Woman's Daybook: Februrary 2, 2010

FOR TODAY
February 2, 2010... (a day late- so sorry!)
Outside my window... cloudy & rainy.
I am thinking... that I need about 48 ours in each day this week. So much to do & so little time!
I am thankful for... I finished one book last week... maybe I can finish another this week?
From the learning rooms... littles are busy studying.
From the kitchen... pork lo mein for supper.
I am wearing... dark purple top with a black skirt.
I am creating... empty ironing pile. Yahoo! I should be caught up this week! Yahoo!
I am going... try to get my food processor fixed ASAP. It will ease the process of shredding cheese.
I am reading... "In Defense of Food".
I am hoping... to actually get to fixing my food processor- second week of it being on my "to-do list!" So much for the "ASAP" part, huh? :)
I am hearing... coughs. It's cold season. Er!
Around the house... laundry needs to be folded. Again. It never ends.
One of my favorite things... my iron, washing machine & dryer. I can't even imagine trying to keep up with all of our laundry without my servants!
A few plans for the rest of the week: Benjamin gets spacers put on to prepare his teeth for a palate expander (actually, he is getting 2 of them- on on top & one on the bottom).
Here is picture for thought I am sharing... Elizabeth is growing up- just look & see:

That's a great pic of Lizzie ... she's so cute.

I did sheets in the laundry this morning and it was nice to not be scrubbing by hand :)

Lorimer's family and most of the people in South Africa still do not have "tumble dryers." They hang it all on a line outside. Mellissa was laughed at when she tryed to hang her laundry. Apparently she did it all wrong. It was all in fun.

I do appreciate our "servants!"
