Elizabeth Turns Three!

Last Saturday, we celebrated Elizabeth Adah's third birthday! WOW! Both Eric and I's extended family were able to come- what a blessing to live closer to family. Before I share pics from the birthday party/dinner, look at what my parents & Patricia made the day before:

Using this book, they decorated horse cupcakes for Elizabeth's "cowgirl" themed party! :) They did a great job:

After decorating the cupcakes, Eric and I took three of the children to see "Voyage of the Dawn Treader." (Four children were suppose to go but we sadly had to leave one behind. Sigh. It's really hard to be the parent sometimes.)

Now, back to Saturday... we enjoyed eating dinner (roast, mama's potatoes, carrots, fresh bread) and then opening gifts & eating the cupcakes. Of course, one of the best parts of being the birthday girl is getting to lick the spoons from the potatoes (and inviting your brother to join you):

Our big, birthday girl:

Her brothers...:

... who can be weird:

PRESENTS:

Tea, anyone?

Cupcakes:

No chocolate, please Papa. Just ice cream:

She's been wearing this ever since- thanks, Aunt Kristine:

Eric and I praise God for blessing Elizabeth with health and, even at her young age, a love for Jesus! We pray that she would continue to grow in His wisdom.

She did have fun. And, OH- I forgot to mention in the post that Lizzie named her new baby doll "Bekah." :)

You did not give yourself the credit for the cupcakes making.
Elizabeth is such a blessing to us, her smile brings us join. May she continue to grow in the knowledge of the Lord.

Blessed Birthday Elizabeth.
