Bible Reading

"I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways." (Psalm 119:15)

Today we give God praise for another year in which our children daily studied God's Word. Yesterday, Patricia and Benjamin finished reading the entire Bible in a year. This was Patricia's third time & Benjamin's second. Matthias didn't quite get to the entire Bible, but he was faithful in his reading. (When Mama remembered to help him! ;)

It's our hope & prayer to have another year of faithfully studying God's Word- both independently and as a family in the evening! This year we are using the M'Cheyne Bible Reading Plan.

Great, Dawn! It is so amazing that N-boy is reading!!! WOW!

Did you ever finish your Proverbs copybook? I need to pick up a new copybook for each of the older 3 children.

No. Right after I blogged about it, I stopped. I should have learned by now to not talk about goals or things going well until they're done.

Another thing for 2011!

Thanks for sharing the reading plan! When we've taught our little ones to read God's Word independently and to love it, we experience the true joy of parenthood. This is something that should keep a smile on our faces daily!
