Simple Woman's Daybook: March 7, 2011

FOR TODAY
March 7, 2011...

Outside my window... sunny but cold. Low 60s all week. :(
I am thinking... about meals.
I am thankful... for the lessons we accomplished this morning.
From the learning rooms... trying to get a lot done the next few days before Friday.
From the kitchen... ???
I am wearing... black shirt w/ colorful skirt.
I am creating... re-started shawl that Abigail had pulled out. Sigh. 3rd times the charm, right?
I am going... grocery shopping tonight- never made it last week. Or the week before that. Or the week before that. Yep, it's desperate around here.
I am reading... finishing up this- just few more chapters.
I am hoping... Abigail's surgery goes well & our offer on a house is accepted.
I am hearing... a fence being built.
Around the house... laundry awaits me. Kinda a theme for this line, huh?
One of my favorite things... hugs & kisses from my littles. Love, LOVE squeezing them!
A few plans for the rest of the week: piano, ortho appt for Benjamin & outpatient surgery for Abigail Friday.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing... Jonathan's come a long way from these days:

He looks so little! It is easy to forget how little they were!

Praying on the house and the surgery and the ortho (I remember those being painful!)

Ahh! I remember Jonathan at this time very well. Jonathan helped to sooth my soul during an especially sorrowful time. He is such a sweety!

What surgery is Abigail having?

He has a soft spot for his Auntie Jeanelle- I think he remembers all the cuddling you did! :)

Rachel,

She is having a cyst removed from the outer part of her ear (it keeps growing & there is risk of infection) & also having her tongue clipped b/c it is tight & may lead to speech delay.

Do you still have a blog?
