A Name & Time to Knit!

I realized that we've never posted about the name that we finally decided upon for our newest little one! So sorry! Her name is Emily Joyanna Tully. :) Elizabeth suggested the name Emily and after learning that it means industrious, we thought it was perfect. (Well, it wasn't that easy but we did finally come to an agreement. ;) Industrious is a character quality that we pray for in all of our girls as we point them to the Proverbs 31 woman. I knew after learning of our pregnancy so soon after our miscarriage, that if God gave us a girl, her middle name had to be Joy. Eric liked the combined name "Joyanna" so we went with it. We pray that little Emily will find her joy in Christ!

I had fun today buying some yarn & searching through my stash for little Emily. (Not so much fun to have to buy 3 sets of circular needles but at least I own them now.) I'm going to work on making this cardigan & these leg warmers with this yarn:

:) It's so much fun to collect new yarn! I'm hoping to make Emily's blanket next month.

What a sweet name! We have an 'Emily' and she is definitely living up to her name. She's also a great source of joy for our family.
