Simple Woman's Daybook: August 29, 2011

August 29, 2011...

Outside my window... another hot day expected.
I am thinking... Lizzie should be still sleeping vs talking to me.
I am thankful... my cousin & her daughter's lives were preserved in last night's accident.
From the learning rooms... I'd really like to finish up my planning!!!
From the kitchen... either soup or baked ziti for dinner. Hmmm...
I am wearing... clothes. I need to go buy some more maternity tops.
I am creating... pair of leg warmers for my friend's baby. (We are exchanging my knitting for her sewing.)
I am going... send Lizzie back to bed now, though I do love to hear her chatter. :)
I am reading... ?
I am hoping... my iron treatments help me feel better.
I am hearing... dishwasher hum LOUDLY (we think it is dyeing) because I forgot to start it last night. Yikes!
Around the house... paperwork that I thought I had almost conquered grew & multiplied into another huge pile. ERRR!
One of my favorite things... a well-stocked freezer & pantry. I've been working towards this & it is such a blessing to not have to run to the store so much!
A few plans for the rest of the week: iron treatment at the hospital. Thankful to be HOME this week. :)
Here is picture for thought I am sharing... I finished a pair of slippers & a hat (says "Olive You!") for my friend's baby, Olive, who due in November:

I had to comment on the's called the life cycle of a pile...Papers are everywhere you feel bad; papers get put in a pile, you feel good; pile sits there, you feel bad;piles sits there some more, you feel worse; pile becomes one with the table, you no longer notice; pile expires, tossed into recylcing, you feel good again.
