Walks with Big Sister

We started back to full(er) lessons this week. I hadn't put any pressure on myself to do so until the new year but I told Eric last week I thought I was ready to do more. Hah! Yesterday went amazingly smooth and today... well, not so much. But I kinda expected that. We'll keep chugging along & if we need or want a break, we will take it. That's the beauty of educating year-around.

Patricia has taken one or more of the little girls for a short walk the past two days. (Don't worry- they don't go far. I can see them the entire time.) They go while I'm prepping lunch (or overseeing the process). It's wonderful! The little girls come back beaming- the cool, crisp fall air refreshes their spirits & bodies. And, a few moments of peace while lunch prep is going on is good for this mama's spirit & body because it can be a fussy time for some.
