Simple Woman's Daybook: August 16, 2010

FOR TODAY
August 16, 2010...

Outside my window... darkness.
I am thinking... that it probably wasn't best to eat chocolate so late at night. I'd better go wash it down with some more fresh, raw, yummy milk!
I am thankful... for my dear daughter, Patricia, who is now ten!
From the learning rooms... we will start studying sea creatures this week- should be fun since we have passes to the Aquarium.
From the kitchen... dishes are put away so the ants do not get them. Yep, the ants are back. Again.
I am wearing... pjs b/c I'm suppose to go to bed soon.
I am creating... still working on the koala mama & baby, plus I started sewing dresses for Abigail & Lizzie. It's going to take awhile- I do not have much time for these things but I enjoy them.
I am going... to see my parents tomorrow b/c Mom is coming to help Patricia sew. :)
I am reading... maybe I'll actually start "Wives and Daughters" by Elizabeth Gaskell.
I am hoping... that littles are happier & rested tomorrow- today was a tough day.
I am hearing... Eric talk to his brother on the phone.
Around the house... piles and piles of laundry didn't get done tonight. Sigh. I'll need to do it in the morning. BIG sigh.
One of my favorite things... listening to lectures & sermons on my iPod during quiet time or while driving.
A few plans for the rest of the week: back to piano lessons tomorrow & Benjamin has an ortho appt Friday.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing... Patricia and I:
