Keepin it Real #9: Please Tell Me I'm Not the Only One

While I was packing today, I gave Abigail some crackers to help her (me) not feel bad that I was encouraging her to let mama work (ie, ignoring her). I even let her run around with them! Yep- we're in full packing stage & normal life is out the window!

It kept her quiet for a long time and I was so happy & pleased with Abigail (myself)... until I found her downstairs delightfully dunking her crackers in the dog's water bowl & then popping them into her mouth. Shiver. Please tell me that I'm not the only mama to have this happen. Please!

We like grahm crackers dipped in water, just not the dog's water. It was a good idea Abigail.

You're not the only one! My dog's favorite thing is to lick out Nate's mouth. I'm continually catching her at it! Really, really, extra-gross!!!

Okay, that is worse. Thanks.

I love your "Keeping it Real" post and the new look of your blog! I laughed so hard when I read what you wrote! I had just confessed to Tom that I sat Luke in the front of the TV on Saturday and pulled Veggie Tales up on Netflix (Tom was out on a trip). First time ever that I have used the TV to "entertain" him so I could accomplish MY purposes. He hasn't gotten into the dogs' dish yet, but that's only because he's not mobile! I did pull a piece of dog hair out of his mouth yesterday. Ewwwwwwww! I didn't have any animals with my first 3 babies - I think I'm going to be shuddering a lot!
