Simple Woman's Daybook: February 27, 2012

FOR TODAY
February 27, 2012

Outside my window... suppose to rain today. :(

I am thinking... we'll all need naps today b/c everyone was up early to say goodbye to Daddy.

I am thankful... for freshly pruned hedges & trees (THANK YOU, Honey & Dad for working on Saturday!).

In the kitchen... hopefully the yogurt turns out.

I am wearing... Capri's! I just love the South! :)

I am creating... Jonathan's blanket and my lace shawl that I'm knitting.

I am going... to start new memory work today with the children.

From the learning rooms... nature journals planned for this week. Yahoo!

I am reading... "Be Your Own Doctor" (Thanks, Devon, for the suggestion!)

I am hoping... this week goes by fast!

I am looking forward to... Eric coming home Friday!

I am learning... to be content with not getting everything done. Now if only I could get that lesson down & not have to re-learn it so often! ;)

Around the house... littles are very sad this morning.

I am pondering... again, pondering shouldn't go on during early morning hours.

A favorite quote for today... "You may need the help of a doctor, but first you must take responsibility for yourself... remember that drugs do not usually correct the root problem, they simply put a band-aid on it. To really correct the problem you must go to the root." Be Your Own Doctor by Rachel Weaver M.H.

One of my favorite things... studying nutrition related topics, Right now, I'm learning about herbs.

A few plans for the rest of the week: lessons with the Coppocks; baby shower; Jonathan's birthday party/Sabbath meal.

A peek into my day... Abigail loves to help in the kitchen. Here she is helping Patricia make lemon loaf, which has become a regular special treat for our Sunday drive (those chubby little hands are so adorable!):

I'll be thinking of you this week. Hubby was gone for several days last week, so I empathize with you.
