Happy Birthday, Jonathan!

This past Saturday, Jonathan turned six! We celebrated with an astronaut themed birthday party Saturday night. My parents, brother & the Coppock family joined us. Thank you for coming! (In the morning, Patricia put together a World War II themed treasure hunt. The boys were thrilled!)

We bought dress up for gifts (we ordered from JM Cremps- if you have boys, CHECK THEM OUT! Great quality with various kinds of adventures to choose from.):

Even the adults had to try on the helmet:

Benjamin used the boxes in a creative way (later he taped one on the bottom to make himself a robot):

I made a ball-shaped moon cake. Beyond the shape, it wasn't very impressive but the children seemed to enjoy it (Dawn, I wish you were here to make my cakes!):

Jonathan, we pray that you would continue to grow in your love for your Savior! We also pray that you would grow up to have dominion over God's universe for His glory!

Happy Birthday, Jonathan!

I hope that's not the only reason you wish we were closer ;) You did a good job, I don't know that I could've done a ball cake!

Happy Birthday, Jonathan - hard to believe he's six! My boys would love that astronaut suit! We could use some more boyish dress-up clothing here, so thanks for the link.
