Simple Woman's Daybook: March 5, 2012

FOR TODAY
March 5, 2012

Outside my window... just beginning to get brighter outside.

I am thinking... that I need to get back to waking earlier every morning.

I am thankful... for Jonathan! He turned 6 on Saturday! (Pics to follow.)

In the kitchen... that's a good question...

I am wearing... black & blue. Looking forward to pulling out some bright spring clothes soon!

I am creating... Jonathan's blanket and my lace shawl that I'm knitting.

I am going... plan the girl's wardrobe & order some patterns. FUN!

From the learning rooms... never got to nature journals last week, so that is TOP on the list! We also need to catch up on some science experiments.

I am reading... same things. Actually, the problem is that I'm not reading enough- too much sewing!

I am hoping... we have a solid week of lessons! With Daddy gone last week, it was kind of hit and miss.

I am looking forward to... having my parent's move this weekend- they'll be 5 minutes away!

I am learning... about magnets & compass' (it's the children's nature journal topic but I've been learning a lot as I prepped for it!)

Around the house... my room needs lots of attention! It became the dumping zone this past weekend!

I am pondering... last night's sermon on Proverbs 8 and embracing Wisdom, which is Christ.

A favorite quote for today...

One of my favorite things... my All-Clad pots & pans! LOVE THEM!

A few plans for the rest of the week: lessons w/ Coppocks, dentist appt for 3 children, piano lessons, helping my parents move, Sabbath meal. PHEW!

A peek into my day... Mama & Emily ready for church yesterday:

Two pretty ladies! :) I think it's hard to be creative AND get much reading done, for me anyway. I've been reading quite a bit lately but not doing much in the creative department.

You're right, Anna! I just want to do both! :) One day- and then I'll be wishing for the days of littles.
