Yeah, Jonathan! (WARNING: personal info)

Jonathan is fully potty trained now! YAHOO!!! If you happen to be in hearing distance after he goes poo, you'll know it because it is followed by cheers by all. (And then Jonathan asking for chocolate. I'm slowly trying to wean that habit!) Jonathan doesn't even need reminding to remember to go now, though we do have to take him in the middle of the night to prevent wetness. Oh, well. It is good practice for when Abigail comes. :)

Jonathan was the hardest BY FAR to train to go poo in the potty (vs. waiting till the middle of the night to go in his diaper). He had been diaper-free during the day for some time but he really fought us in the end. REALLY fought us. I mean screaming for 30-60 minutes as he sat on the potty. But Eric & I worked together and were especially diligent to have him with us 24/7 until he went. Oh, and PRAYER helped a lot too!

So, yeah for Jonathan!

Yes, it is sad but true- I needed potty training tips for my 5th child! I had NEVER had one who refused to go poo before. The tip to have him stay w/ us 24/7 (NO PLAY) until he went, was great! It wasn't always easy to be patient (ah, mama's sin too!) but God taught us all lessons during this time!
